Product Description:
PRESIDENTGOLD's specially designed Chapman Flux is an innovative tool crafted to make the process of testing precious metals easy and accurate. With a unique formula, it helps to separate gold, silver, and platinum from other materials, ensuring reliable results every time. The flux melts and binds impurities, allowing for a clean assay of your precious metals. Lightweight and easy to use, Chapman Flux is perfect for jewelers, miners, and anyone involved in metal recovery, providing a simple solution for accurate metal analysis.
Uses:
Jewelry Melting:
Chapman Flux can be used to remove impurities by extracting common base metals and cleaning up your jewelry. Compared to simply melting it, this will provide a superior product without refining it.
Mix and stir while melting in a 1:1 ratio per the jewelry weight. Melt for ten to twenty minutes before pouring it all into a mold all at once. For best results let the material solidify by cooling off the glass or slag. Then simply hit the glass/slag with a hammer to release your precious metal alloy.
Flux will assay the following elements if you can get it hot enough:
- Gold
- Silver
- Palladium
- Platinum
The glass and slag can be melted and used in multiple assays depending of the amount of impurities your material may contain.
Black Sands & Rock Ore:
Our flux is engineered to effectively assay black sands and mineral ore. This innovative flux enhances the separation of valuable minerals from unwanted materials, making it easier for miners and geologists to analyze their samples. Its unique formulation promotes better fusion and provides clear results, ensuring accurate readings every time. Whether you’re working in a lab or on-site, our Chapman Flux is the ideal solution for efficiently evaluating the potential of your mineral deposits.
Mix toughly in a 1:1 ratio to assay your materials.
Best assaying results are achieved if you milling the flux and black sands/mineral ore together prior to melting to ensure homogeneous mixing.
After mixing the black sands and crushed mineral ore, place the mixture in a crucible, heat it to 2100 degrees Fahrenheit, and then hold it there for an hour. Then, simultaneously pour all of your melted material into a mold. In the pour, the Gold Bar or bead will fall to the bottom. When the pour cools, you will hear a sound akin to glass breaking. You can then break off the slag once it has cooled. It will be a bead near the bottom of the pour if you have little amounts of gold. The slag/Flux will be on top and the old will be a bar at the bottom if you have more.
Electronic Waste:
Our specially designed Chapman Flux is an innovative solution created to efficiently test and analyze shredded electronic waste. This powerful tool helps identify valuable materials like gold, silver, and copper within the waste, making recycling easier and more effective. With its user-friendly design, the Chapman Flux simplifies the assaying process, allowing businesses to understand the content of their electronic waste without complicated procedures. By using our product, companies can promote sustainable practices while also recovering precious resources from discarded electronics.
